This night light is so stylish and nice, it's got a pretty finish to it and it works great. The three modes are Auto (motion sensor activated), the light won't light up during day time when it is bright enough; On (permanent light, motion sensor off); Off. It will come on just when I walk 6 feet of the sensor, to it making the great light for the hallway at night going to the bathroom it gives me a soft glow instead of a bright light. No wiring required, operated by 3x 1.5V AAA batteries (NOT included). lightweight and easy to move where you need it. Durable and easy to use. Most definitely recommend.
